I've been playing numerous TV shows both live and pre-recorded such as Idool, Steracteur-Sterartiest, De Gouden Schoen, De Laatste Show, De MIA's, Miss België, Télévie, Wilkommen Bei Carmen Nebel, Sportgala, Debby En Nancy.
In the recording studio, I have been playing on many jingles, singles and full albums of different artists.
Both formally classical and jazz/pop-trained, I feel equally at home in any style demanded.
I studied Classical Trumpet with Benny Wiame at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent and received my Masters' Degree in Jazz & Lichte Muziek with Nico Schepers at the same institute.
I continued to take lessons from Jerome Callet (USA), Chris LaBarbera (USA), Pete De Siena (USA) and most importantly, Bobby Shew (USA). Bobby Shew really took my playing to a new level.
Since 2006, I'm the Head of the Jazz, Pop & Rock Department at Kunstacademie Vlaamse Ardennen.
